Assistant Producer, Lianain Films, Singapore (1 January 2011 – present)
My duties include researching stories, handling the logistics of productions (confirming schedules, setting up interviews, etc.), helping out on both local and overseas shoots, digitising and transcribing footage, assembly editing, sound mixing and handling administrative matters such as deliverables and accounts. I have also helped to supervise interns.
Deputy Editor, The Online Citizen, Singapore (1 July 2011 – 31 October 2011)
I assist the Interim Chief Editor in vetting/editing articles, as well as coordinating volunteers. I also continue to contribute to the site in terms of articles, photographs and video, as well as being an administrator of the Facebook page.
Journalism Trainer, Effective Communications Training, Chiang Mai, Thailand (10 August 2011 – 23 August 2011)
I worked with participants from Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Burma, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand on their writing and reporting skills. We also discussed the use of social media, citizen journalism and blogging.
Production Assistant, Lianain Films, Singapore (1 March 2010 – 31 December 2010)
As a production assistant I helped to research projects. I also organised shoots, helped on set (camera and lighting assist), transcribed raw footage and did some assembly editing and sound mixing.

Editor, SEA Youth Say So (August 2011 – present)
I proofread articles submitted by contributors, as well as work with other editors or country representatives to plot the overall direction of the site. I also help run the Facebook and Twitter accounts and write articles.
Co-Founder, We Believe In Second Chances, Singapore (August 2010 – present)
A youth-led campaign against capital punishment in Singapore, we research and tell the stories of death row inmates. We also organise events and forums to try to encourage more discussion of the death penalty in SIngapore.
Contributor, The Online Citizen, Singapore (February 2010 – June 2011)
I shot videos, wrote articles, covered hearings at the Supreme Court, updated the Facebook page, replied emails, took photos and also helped out with random logistics.
Teacher, Youth Empowerment Programme, Thai-Burmese border (23 November 2010 – 6 December 2010)
I taught basic public speaking and debate skills, and we also talked a little about media literacy. Then we played UNO. A lot.
